- What type of classes do you offer?
- We offer a wide range of dance and fitness classes, including Hip-Hop, Jazz, Polynesian, Tap, Ballet, Celtic, Yoga, Bodysculpting, Gentle Aerobics, Ballroom and Social Dance, just to name a few. Click on the "DANCE" or "FITNESS" link on the left for a complete list, description and schedule of the classes we offer.
- Are there age limitations?
- No, we do not have age limitations. We have classes for ages 1 1/2 and up, including adult classes.
- Are there classes for adults?
- Yes, we do have classes for adults in both dance and fitness such as Tap, Polynesian, Social Dance, Ballroom, Hip Hop, Body Sculpting and Yoga. Please click on the "DANCE" or "FITNESS" link on the left for a complete list of classes, descriptions and schedule of the classes we offer.
- Are there any classes for Guys?
- Yes, guys are welcomed in all of our classes. Please click on the "DANCE" link on the left for more information.
- When do the classes start?
- Our Fall Session starts August 17, 2009, ending in June 2010, similar to a school year. NEW students will be accepted mid-session into a class that is considered technically appropriate for them by the CSDA faculty. In some cases it may be necessary for a new student to wait for adequate enrollment to start up a new class. Please contact CSDA for more information. - How do I register?
- Registration can be done in-person at CSDA. If you want, you may print out a Registration form by clicking on the "DANCE" link on the left.
- What types of payment are accepted?
- Monthly tuition will be AUTOMATICALLY charged to your VISA/Mastercard/Debit Credit Card on or around the 28th of the prior month. Tuition is paid in ADVANCE.
For all NON-monthly tuition payments, we accept the following types of payment:- Checks: Please make checks payable to CSDA or Center Stage Dance Academy
- Cash: Please make cash payments to an office person for a written receipt
- Visa/Master Card
- A $25 fee will be assessed for any failed transaction.

- What are the tuition/fee rates?
- Registration Fee (non-refundable): $40.00
Tuition Rates:- Tuition is charged monthly based on the combined total hours of dance classes enrolled in for all family members. Monthly tuition will be AUTOMATICALLY charged to your VISA/Mastercard/Debit Credit Card on or around the 27th of the prior month. Tuition is paid in ADVANCE.

- What are the billing policies?

- No billing sent home from the studio
- Monthly tuition will be AUTOMATICALLY charged to your VISA/Mastercard/Debit Credit Card on or around the 27th of the prior month. Tuition is paid in ADVANCE.
- A $25.00 fee is applied to all FAILED transactions
- Fees are set on a monthly basis.
- Full tuition is due REGARDLESS of holidays, number of weeks in a month, missed lessons, and family vacations.
- We do not charge more for the months with 5 weeks of classes nor do we prorate for vactions or holidays.
- Missed lessons are not deductible but, a MAKE-UP class is available in most cases and must be taken within 1 month of missed class.
- To hold your place in a class you will be required to pay the full monthly tuition whether or not you attend.
- PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsibility to notify the office of any schedule change so that your account may be adjusted.
- We MUST receive a WRITTEN request to drop a class by the 15th of the month to avoid being chaged for the next month's tuition.
- Any requests to drop a class must be done IN WRITING and 2 WEEKS PRIOR to last day attending. Non-attendance does not constitute dropping a class.
- Do I have to pay in full when I register for a class?
- You pay a registration fee and 1st month's tuition when registering. Please see Tuition/Fee Rates.
- What happens if I miss a class?
- Missed lessons are not deductible but, a MAKE-UP class is available in most cases and must be taken within 1 month of missed class.
- What if I decide to drop the class?
- Your must drop a class by the 15th of the month to avoid being charged for the next month's tuition. NOTIFY THE OFFICE IN WRITING TO AVOID BEING CHARGED FULL MONTHLY TUITION. The nofication must be 2 WEEKS PRIOR to the last day attending.
- Do you have performances?
- Yes, we have a Holiday performance in December with all proceeds going to a charitable organization and our end of the dance year Recital in June. We also have performances in various community events throughout the year. Please click on the CALENDAR or COMPANI link at left for a list of our performances.
- Are there additional costs associated with performances?
- Yes, there are additional costs to participate in performances.

- Costume cost including costume, tights, shoes, etc. (Pricing and specific costume ordering information will be provided at a later date.)

- You must be enrolled in classes by January 31st.
- Recital Fee and Costume payment is due by January 10th.

- Is there a dress code ?
- Yes. Dance wear appropriate to the class is expected.
- Street clothes and street shoes are to be worn to and from the dance studio.
- Put your name on your dance wear and shoes.
- Hair is to be secured away from the face so as not to hit the eyes when spotting turns. A bun is required for ballet class. Ponytail or hair secured away from face is required for all other classes
- BALLET:
- Black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes
- BOYS: T-shirt, dance pants or tights, ballet shoes
- COMBINATION CLASSES:
- Ballet attire
- Black tap/jazz shoes, pink ballet shoes
- JAZZ:
- Leotards & tights or fitted T-Shirts & jazz/capri pants
- Black jazz shoes.
- TAP:
- Dance wear Only: T-Shirt
- Biker shorts or jazz/capri pants
- Black tap shoes
- HIP-HOP:
- Same as Jazz with CLEAN tennis shoes
- POLYNESIAN:
- Sarong around the hips
- Leotard, pareau (sarong)
- No shoes
