"Georgina Coleman is one of the most capable teachers I know especially
for laying the ground work of excellent ballet technique in children.
She has the capacity to instill discipline and inspire people of all ages
to love dance."
Donna Delseni, School Director Ballet San Jose Silicon Valley
Georgina, you are a gifted teacher that brings out the best in her
students.
Karen Gabay, Principal Dancer, Ballet San Jose Silicon Valley
"Georgina Coleman has a wonderful way with children and a sound
background in her craft. Both of my daughters had her as a ballet teacher
and enjoyed her immensely. If you are looking for high quality instruction
with a nurturing teacher, Georgina would be a great choice."
Karen Speidel, Ballet Mom since 1997 (Ballet San Jose Silicon Valley)
Mrs. Coleman (Miss Georgina) has been the single most influential person
in Kelly's life outside of our family. Her teaching style is gentle, precise,
and honest. She is up front with parents and students alike. Georgina has
an ability to watch twenty children in a class, yet see each one individually
and offer corrections specifically for each child's needs. She can watch
a movement Kelly is having trouble perfecting, and tell her precisely
what muscle to use or how to correct her balance. She knows exactly what
type of information to give and what manner to use to reach each child
-- whether it is physically placing a foot in position, creating a mental
picture of what the position should look like, making a singsong rhyme
about it or videotaping the movement. I have never felt like I was imposing
when I have a question to ask. She always makes you -- as a parent --
feel like a teammate rather than a pesky problem. As busy as she is, she
always has time to smile and genuinely consider your point of view. Georgina
conveys her deep love for the art of ballet. She teaches precise technique
that creates a disciplined, correct dancer. Georgina has passed on her
gift of an understanding and appreciation of the art of ballet to countless
children. I am not sure she has a complete understanding of how deeply
she has touched their lives. She has given Kelly the gifts of confidence,
expression and poise that carry far beyond the studio doors. The traits
necessary to survive the scrutiny of auditions, perform for an audience,
and compete for placement are the same ones needed to succeed in a job
interview, give a presentation or compete for advancement in the workplace
for the rest of her life. Kelly has learned the discipline and responsibility
to live in a dorm setting for summer programs and take care of herself
since she was 13 years old. It will serve her well as she leaves for the
university in the fall! Each step of the way has been smoothed and paved
by Miss Georgina's gentle preparation and wise advice.

"Ms. Coleman aka Ms. Georgina," is the most dedicated teacher
I have ever met. No matter who you are, she has faith that you can make
it if you want to. She will not only be your teacher but a very special
person in your life. Once you get to know her, you will always take a
part of her with you for the rest of your life. She listens and understands
the needs of each student individually and does everything she can to
help you. Ms. Georgina will tell you what it takes and give you the story
realistically. She will be a lifelong friend and will help you all the
way if you are really interested. Her professionalism is top quality.
Anyone should be lucky to have her as a teacher!"

My dear Georgina:
Congratulations on the opening of your new Dance School. I know it will
be a huge success. All the years that you were with the Branham Dance
Center were inspiring and we were very proud of your abilities and the
fine students you taught. Some of them still ask when Miss Georgina is
coming back. They miss your excellent choreography and your fine teaching
ability.
All the very best.
Rose Adrian, Founder, Branham Dance Center (BDC)
Georgina knows what is needed technically, artistically and psychologically
to produce a dancer and is able to communicate that personally to anyone
who walks in her door, whether they're entering with professional intent
or the desire to enrich their lives. She is dedicated to her student's
success and well-being as well as to sharing the joys of dance. Georgina
contributed to my work as a dancer, teacher, choreographer and co-director
of a dance company. My classes and approach still contain elements that
are directly traceable to Georgina's knowledge and philosophy.
